Jonathan D. Davis ('81,'85) Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established by Mr. & Mrs. Martin Davis in memory of Jonathan Davis. The scholarship will be awarded to students in the Graduate Psychology Program who: 1) must be full-time graduate students as defined by the Department of Graduate Psychology, 2) must be in good academic standing and 3) must have a primary interest in suicide, suicide prevention, and/or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The maximum individual award will be equivalent to nine hours of graduate tuition per semester for two semesters, or 18 total hours, and the determination of tuition rates will be based on a student’s state residency (in-state or out-of-state). If the annual allocation from the endowment exceeds the maximum individual award, additional awards may be made with a minimum value of $3,000 and a maximum as determined above. It is the donors’ desire that maximum awards be made when funds are available. Until the maximum award value is available, only one award will be made annually.
