Brent J. Rhoads/Lambda Chi Alpha Memorial Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established by Lynn L. Rhodes, Stephen M. Rhoads, and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity in memory of Brent J. Rhoads, a JMU student and member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, who died on October 5, 1994.

This Scholarship is intended to benefit a JMU student who is an in-state, rising junior with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. Preference will be given to those students with superior academic achievement. Priority will be given to a student who is a member in good standing of a JMU Greek organization. All candidates must submit an application, which may include an essay for consideration. The student recipient may continue to receive the scholarship until graduation, as long as he/she continues to meet the selection criteria. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships and shall follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
