Dr. William W. Thomas Memorial Scholarship in Religion

An annual scholarship established by Timothy Johnson (’96). This scholarship will be awarded annually at the discretion of the Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion. To qualify as a Thomas Scholar, the recipient must be a junior or senior who has demonstrated financial need and intends to enter seminary or divinity school upon graduation. Beyond these criteria, the appointment of students to receive these scholarships will follow the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
