Charles S. and Bertha Mast Graybeal Memorial Scholarship

An endowed scholarship established by Ralph and Inez Roop in memory of Charles S. and Bertha Mast Graybeal.

This endowment will provide financial resources annually for scholarship awards to students who are attending or who desire to attend JMU and meet the University’s academic requirements. To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit a 500-word essay describing a commitment to global diversity and community through travel or other lived experiences. In the absence of any qualified or appropriate applicants, the scholarship shall be awarded to deserving students at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
