Geology Field Camp Scholarships
Scholarship candidates must be a full-time Sophomore, Junior, or Senior who is in good academic standing and enrolled in a major in the Department of Geology and Environmental Sciences at James Madison University, with preference given to students majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Geology. Scholarships will be administered at the discretion of the Department Head for Geology and Environmental Sciences, in consultation with the department’s Scholarship Committee following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.

- Lynn S. Fichter Experiential Scholarship in Geology and Environmental Sciences

- Describe the field experience (field camp) that you are planning to attend. Provide the course number, and the course beginning and ending dates. If you are applying to more than one list all. The field experience can be the JMU field camp or any other field camp or experience you are intending to attend, with the approval of the JMU field camp director and/or Geology/Environmental Science Department Head.
