Karen Buchanan Memorial Scholarship in the Office of Disability Services

An annual scholarship established by Hannah M. Buchanan (’22, ’24) in memory of Karen Buchanan, JMU parent and former employee in the Office of Disability Services.

Scholarship recipients will demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships and be registered with the Office of Disability Services. This scholarship will be awarded to one student per year and is renewable as long as the criteria continue to be met, subject to the availability of funds.

The guardian of this account will be the Director of the Office of Disability Services. Recipients will be selected at the discretion of the guardian following the University’s guidelines for awarding scholarships.
