Dr. Bijan Saadatmand Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established with a combined philanthropic gift by Daniel C. Lapus (’95) and Joseph F. (’79) and Deborah D. (’78) Showker to honor Dr. Bijan Saadatmand.

To be considered for the scholarship, the student must be an incoming Freshman and must submit a 500-word essay describing a commitment to global diversity and community through travel or other lived experiences. The scholarship is renewable as long as the student remains in good academic standing. Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Director of International Student and Scholar Services following the University’s guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
