Sylvia Kamsky Roth Scholarship Endowment Fund

An endowed scholarship established with a gift from the estate of Nancy P. Roth, who passed away on January 29, 2024.

In her Delclaration of Trust, Ms. Roth designated her gift to create an endowment in memory of Sylvia Kamsky Roth, Class of 1936. The purpose of the fund is to create a scholarship or scholarships for Virginia residents attending James Madison University who are majoring in primary or secondary education and demonstrate financial need.

The designated guardian of this fund is the Dean of the College of Education.
