An endowed scholarship established by Phyllis Y. Coulter (’69) in memory of former James Madison University painting and figure drawing professor, Jerry L. Coulter.

Donor Criteria
Restrictions
• Enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program with a concentration in Painting and Drawing or enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts Program with a focus on painting or drawing.

Administration
• Renewable as long as the criterion is met.
• Awarded to one student per year.

Guardian
The guardian of this account will be the Director of the School of Art, Design, and Art History. Recipients will be selected at the discretion of the guardian following the University’s guidelines for awarding scholarships.
