Benjamin T. Delp (’05, ’08M) Memorial Scholarship Endowment

An endowed scholarship established in memory of Benjamin T. Delp (’05, ’08M), former Director of the James Madison University Office of Federal Relations and Communications from a memorial fund established to receive gifts in his memory.

Restrictions
• Rising Senior majoring in political science.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2.
• Preference for student with interest in public service.
• Preference for student with interest in the federal government.

Administration
• Awarded to one student per year. Additional scholarships will be awarded when expendable earnings are sufficient to fund another recipient, noting the minimum award to any one student is $2,000.

Guardian
The guardian of this account will be the Chair of the Political Science Department. Recipients will be selected at the discretion of the guardian following the University’s guidelines for awarding scholarships.
