Joanne and William Conway Nursing Scholarship

An expendable scholarship established by the Bedford Falls Foundation. The School of Nursing agrees to refer to the scholarship program as a “Joanne and William Conway Nursing Scholarship”.

In accordance with the Proposal, Conway Scholarships shall be awarded in an average annual amount not to exceed $ 5,000 to traditional BSN students who met the following “Initial Eligibility Criteria”:
(a) Unmet Demonstrated Need. Student must have demonstrated financial need per a submitted FAFSA for the given academic year, which need is not fully met after allocation of tuition discounting, other scholarships and non-loan financial aid.
(b) Residency Requirement. Student must be a resident of Virginia.
© Good Standing. Student must be in good academic standing.
(d) Upperclassmen. Student must be enrolled in junior- or senior-level professional nursing curriculum in the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.

Intended for students with the highest financial need. A student receiving an award may be eligible for renewal if he or she continues to satisfy the Initial Eligibility Criteria.

The guardian of this account will be the Director of the School of Nursing. Recipients will be selected by the guardian following the University’s guidelines for awarding scholarships.
